Ashley Bearden is the founder of Do Good Films, an independent production company dedicated to creating impactful, purpose-driven video content for nonprofits and brands with a mission to make a positive difference in the world. With over 15 years of experience in film, television, and documentary production, Ashley specializes in storytelling that amplifies voices and drives meaningful social change. What sets her apart is her rare combination of both creative and logistical expertise, having worked as a Creative Producer, Line Producer, and Production Manager. This unique blend allows her to understand production from every angle—crafting powerful stories while managing budgets, schedules, and team dynamics.

 

Ashley produces both independently and through Do Good Films, working on projects that range from political campaigns to social impact documentaries. Her portfolio includes high-profile work such as producing testimonial ads for Kamala Harris' presidential campaign, producing Divided States of Women for Vox Media, and the Emmy-winning Return to Catalunya with Anthony Bourdain for CNN. Her experience with organizations like The Onion and Above Average has further honed her ability to consult and guide teams, helping them build production workflows and streamline equipment needs while keeping projects on track. Whether independently or through Do Good Films, Ashley remains focused on crafting content that resonates with audiences and creates lasting impact.
